The Project addresses the manufacturing of 2 full shipsets of pax and cargo floor grids for regional Aircraft Fuselage barrel on .ground demostrators using thermoplastic resin reinforced with carbon fiber.The use of manufacturing technologies with a lot of potential for automation will be explored (i.e. Progressive Roll Forming and Induction welding) in order to be competitive in terms of weight saving and recurring cost reduction.
