O.E.A. | Training and working in Europe

Summary
An ever-increasing number of young people choosing to go abroad to acquire work experience. The goal of this pilot project is to create guidance and cross-disciplinary skill modules for young people in training or working in a different European Union Member State to their own country of origin.

OEA aims to create modules, based on exchanges and placements, which will then be tested on several groups of young people involved in a transnational placements. Enterprises directly involved in the experiment will supervise and validate guidance work. The partnership is made up of organisations dealing with job training and assistance for young foreigners in their country. Member organisations have many years of experience in hosting and training young foreigners.

A video cassette will be used to distribute the cross-disciplinary skill modules to any interested parites and organisations.

Impact
OEA will create a transnational guidance tool for use by guidance services and higher level schools.
