DISPECA | Long-distance training for small food businesses

Summary
Small businesses in the food sector need to adjust to new information technology and new working methods to make themselves profitable. This pilot project aims to create a long-distance training model. The model will facilitate the creation of a diagnostic system for businessmen and trainers in the areas of management and customer/supplier relations, as well as the incorporation of new information technologies into small businesses.

These distance training modules will include : food business in Europe; communication in points of sales; layout and merchandising; pricing; management control; financial management; and the relations between customers and suppliers.
