Summary
Every day, satellites help Europe to respond better to new global and societal challenges: climate change, disaster management, security threats, migration, farming, transport, or energy.
To accomplish their mission, satellites need actuators to manoeuvre (i.e. change their orientation) and point towards the necessary targets on Earth (e.g. to collect imagery or simply to communicate). Our company, VEOWARE SPACE has developed an innovative next-gen space actuator technology enabling satellites to manoeuvre 10 times faster to boost their effectiveness. Our solution is a Control Moment Gyroscope, the microCMG.
VEOWARE’s technology has been fully tested and qualified on ground but to ensure product viability customer require an in-orbit demonstration. This project aims at bringing VEOWARE to market with a first flight in orbit and the scaling up of the sales team to prepare serving customer by 2023.
