Summary
SuperDryer is a breakthrough clean fiber drying system to reduce energy use and GHG emissions in paper production, sludge processing and textile recycling. It will be the first fiber dryer to integrate renewable energy inputs, cutting GHGs to zero.
It uses a patented closed-loop heat and moisture recapture system to recover 100% of heat, stop 100% of airborne emissions, and reduce energy use by 25% compared to existing dirty driers.
TM Systems has 100+ experts developing innovative energy-saving equipment. Its installed technology already saves 1 nuclear power plant worth of energy annually.
Initial customers will be pulp and paper mills and recyclers, with several interested buyers. Future customers will be municipal and industrial sludge processors, and textile recyclers.
TM Systems has prototyped and validated SuperDryer. In this project it will pilot the first full-scale unit in a working paper mill and reach commercialization.
