Floating Genes is a French deeptech startup incorporated in October 2021, developing early cancer detection tools from liquid biopsies. The company focuses on digestive cancers, and especially colorectal and pancreatic cancer, which is mostly detected in stage 4 and show 4.3 month of median survival. Floating Genes has developed and patented molecular biology tools to detect very rare circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in the blood.
