D2SCALE establishes and deploys a sustainable scaling platform, acting as catalyst to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing European startup ecosystem to support deep tech and digital ventures successfully provide market-ready applications, flourish, grow strongly and increase the market footprint of European deep tech Startups and scaleups that contribute substantially to the sustainability and European sovereignty of key sectors such as Transport, logistics & trade and adjacent areas of Smart Cities (mobility, utilities, sustainable construction). D2SCALE supports the existing startup ecosystem actors with state-of-the-art methodologies, best practices, tools and especially pan-European networks. These will be developed and deployed in a program with 100 selected high-potential ventures, assuring both direct impact on the success of those ventures as well as hands-on experience of the ecosystem actors.
D2SCALE first builds a network of 300 active key stakeholders and identifies market opportunities holding significant demand and growth potential and builds the needed knowledge to scale related companies. It then launches an open call to attract in 2 rounds 100 best companies (10 in each area) and provides them efficient mentoring to help them address their individual challenges and build strategic plans. It then connects them with active investors, corporate partners, lead customers (private and public) and talent. Raising visibility on the supported companies is also delivered to the portfolio companies as service.
D2SCALE brings together a wide consortium of 13 partners from 8 countries, widening countries well represented. It will result in min. 25 companies raising avg €2Mln investment and 25 companies closing partnership with avg value €2 Mln (Total 100 Mln) while hands-on experience by the participating ecosystems builds their capabilities to scale deep tech companies and expand their networks.
