OverSemi | Optimisation of a novel software tool for automation of the design & verification process of semiconductor development

Summary
If a defect remains undetected in the development process of a chip, it will be carried over to the physical production and will be present in every unit produced. If discovered too late, the manufacturer incurs in a loss that can reach billions. Even if it can be corrected, market entry would be delayed, resulting in additional losses. In a reality where the EU semiconductor market is lagging behind, LUBIS EDA is developing a software that ensures that future chips are developed more reliably, faster, and with a mathematically proven 0% chance of errors. By automating the design & verification process of chip development, LUBIS’ unique procedure enables exceptional cost-effectiveness and faster time-to-market for semiconductor developers, maximising their revenues and ensuring safe and reliable development. Within this project, LUBIS will optimise its software and make it accessible to a broader audience, enabling its market introduction through a licensing-based business model.
