Smart speech and language tools for children's development.
Kids Speech Labs is on a mission to ensure all children can develop their communication skills as early and effectively as possible. Children across the EU are spending up to 12 months on waiting lists for assessments and interventions for speech and language development. The major gap in the ecosystem is providing parents with tools they can use in the early stages of development to help understand their child's progress. Kids Speech Labs (KSL) are building assessment and training tools that use automatic speech recognition and artificial intelligence to assess, monitor and intervene in children's speech development.
KSL’s smart technology and evidence-based solutions will be the first to provide parents and professionals in this industry with clinically validated digital tools to manage children’s speech development. The first goal of this project is to test the feasibility of deploying a light-touch speech assessment tool that can provide parents with unique insights into their child's speech development, generating further evidence of a real market gap and willingness to pay for solutions. The second goal is to validate our market assumptions, size, route to market and cost of acquisition. This project is the first step in developing a drastically new approach to providing solutions in speech and language development to address the inadequacies in the industry.
