Summary
In Europe, more than 15% of airport traffic arrives during peak periods, making airports operate at maximum capacity, restraining growth, holding airplanes in the air burning fuel accumulating delays. Air transport demand is expected to grow in the upcoming years with passengers and airlines primarily interested in travelling during peak periods, thus increasing the pressure on already congested airports, the airlines and the environment.

Our breakthrough Artificial Intelligence powered data platform, DataBeacon.aero, enables better informed decisions regarding runway capacity through real-time, reliable predictions.

SmartRunway is a part of the DataBeacon.aero data platform and brings a revolution to how airport runways capacity is managed. Our technology will increase runway performance without costly new runways and reduce the emissions and environmental impact of the growing air transport.

Deploying services encompassing more than 30 different data sources and formats, automatically cleaned, anonymised and fused, ready to be used in different applications, we will disrupt several aviation processes beyond runway optimisation, including emissions and fuel optimisation, delay management and network operations.

Provided as-a-service, our tools are disruptive to the industry incumbents business models. No data-driven services exist amongst the current industry leaders, who sell expensive equipment development in long-cycles making innovation very difficult. Breaking these barriers requires a group of innovative early customers, already secured, and seed investment.

SmartRunway achieved the Seal of Excellence in a previous EIC Evaluation with a 13,40 score.
