Incentives, Tools, Open Source for adoption of eStandards

D6.1 reports on the role of technology in ensuring cost-effective standards development for eHealth Interoperability including an inventory of tools that spans the full life-cycle of standards inception and deployment. Open Source will be evaluated as a way to promote interoperability, analysing this opportunity and reporting potential pitfalls. Finally this deliverable will examine the possibility of leveraging technology standards that are used by commercial systems and are not specific to eHealth such as (OASIS ODF), (W3C Forms), etc
