Report with state of the art review of hydraulic fracturing with clearly identified gaps in knowledge and with recommendations for experimental and numerical modelling work. Aim: Inventory with best practices of shale gas hydraulic fracturing from US & Canada. Scope: The inventory will demonstrate potential knowledge gaps on shale gas hydraulic fracturing when applied to Europe, thereby helping to tailor and optimize experimental and modelling work.
