Best practices and recommendations for minimising the environmental footprint of subsurface shale gas operations

Report with inventory of key knowledge gaps and best practices for subsurface operations, and integrated scientific recommendations for minimising the environmental footprint. Aim: Public dissemination of all results from M4ShaleGas research on subsurface operations. Scope: Integration of reviews and research on different subsurface operations from WP1 to WP1 provides the scientific basis for the recommendations to minimise impacts and mitigate risks and footprint of subsurface shale gas operations in Europe.
