Recommendations for understanding public perceptions and attitudes of environmental impact of shale gas

Report with aimed at a policy and stakeholder audience that pulls together the best practice recommendations of each of the work packages in relation to understanding public perceptions and managing the environmental impact of shale gas. Aim: Public dissemination of all results from M4ShaleGas research on public perceptions of the environmental impact of shale gas. Scope: Integration of reviews and research on public perceptions, engagement, participation and dissemination from WP4.1 to WP4.3 provides the scientific basis for the recommendations on communication strategies and prerequisites for a “social license to operate” in Europe.
