Aim: Public dissemination of research on physicochemical parameters relevant to determining harmfulness of flow back waste types from shale gas operations in Europe. Scope: The research contributes to establishing optimum flow back waste management approaches in Europe that can be used to minimize the impact of shale gas operations on water resources and soils.
