Environmental monitoring for shale gas

Report on environmental monitoring associated with shale gas development in Europe, summarizing all results from WP7 and taking into account the contribution of M4ShaleGas partners. Aim: Public dissemination of all results from M4ShaleGas research on environmental monitoring of surface, groundwater, and soils. Scope: Integration of reviews and research on environmental monitoring of surface, groundwater, and soils provides the scientific basis for the recommendations to perform optimum environmental monitoring for analysis of impacts and leading to mitigation of risks and footprint of shale gas operations in Europe.
