Recommendation best practices for minimizing surface impact using environmental monitoring

Report with contributions of WP7 to integrated SP2 results and recommendation of best practices for minimizing surface impact. Aim: Public dissemination of scientific recommendations for optimum environmental monitoring of surface, groundwater, and soils from review of best practices (mainly U.S.A. and Canada), extended with analysis of available data to close identified knowledge gaps. Scope: Scientific recommendations on optimum environmental monitoring of surface, groundwater, and soils provides guidelines for different stakeholders in shale gas activities, and aids discussions on proper technical criteria for licenses to operate.
