International review of social innovation in policy implementations

This Deliverable will identify the initiatives and implementations that use social innovation to achieve a reduction in the use of CFV. This will involve an international search of a range of sources including published academic articles and professional trade magazines and ‘grey literature’ using advanced systematic literature search techniques and the professional library services available at universities libraries. In addition the networks of professional practitioners involved in EMPOWER will be utilised to identify relevant ‘grey literature’. The resulting list of initiatives and implementations will be synthesised to provide a typology based on the key characteristics; and effectiveness on the reduction in CFV use; and impact on different sectors of the travelling public, especially women and other vulnerable groups.
