Report on existing unmanned upper atmosphere radioactivity monitoring methods for fast response service

Identification of existing research and operational unmanned airborne platforms, UAVs and sounding systems, with the capability to conduct airborne in-situ radioactivity measurements. Specific products to be considered are related to activity concentration of radionuclides emitting gamma radiation and to external dose rate. The existing operational and research systems will be assessed with respect to the different data products considering the different level of QA/QC, spatial coverage, near real time data delivery, data availability/accessibility, operational response time, etc.
