Implementation of a demonstrator for particles and SO2 analysis

Based on the improved capabilities to integrate/assimilate complementary measurements from satellites, ground-based and aircraft instruments, short-term analysis of Aerosols and SO2 will be generated in an operational mode in regular time intervals upon arrival of new observational information, e.g. every 6 or 12 hours. As a result, the 4D analysis image of the plume (ash, SO2, desert dust or fire) will be generated. The demonstration of this assimilation system will be implemented.
