Report on the estimation of radiation doses inside aircraft cabins for indication of safe and non-safe fly zones

Dose estimation due to external contribution, i.e, cloud immersion, deposition inside and contamination outside the aircraft, radiation exposition of passengers and crew, and to internal contribution, i.e, inhalation due to air conditioning systems inside the plane, will be calculated for different radionuclides and activities. The results will provide recommended thresholds that could be used in the Decision Support System (DSS) based on the relation between plume activity and measurements inside the cabin to doses and, therefore, facilitate the decision to define safe or non-safe fly zones.
