Tracer experiment analyzed and compared with tracer dispersion forecast

The dispersion of the Tracer artificially released is simulated with the EUNADICS forecast tools and restricted areas at the ground and in the air space are defined for the hours/days after the release. A meteorological situation will be selected on the basis of pre-test forecasts to cover suitable dispersion conditions including also convective uplift of the tracer into the upper airspace. The models and related products are validated against the measurements.
