Assessment and Cross-calibration among existing ground-based remote sensing networks

Identification of specific data products available for cross calibration and validation for remote sensing techniques among the existing observation networks and research aircraft. These common data products are used for cross validation, including retrieval techniques and instrument calibration in order to produce consistent data among the different networks and with data available from research aircrafts. Appropriate data products are identified for the different crisis scenarios investigated: volcanic eruptions, desert dust and sand storms, and large forest fires events.
