Report on existing aircrafts for the radioactivity measurements of the upper atmosphere

Identification of existing research and operational aircrafts with the capability to conduct airborne in-situ radioactivity measurements. Specific products to be considered are related to activity concentration of radionuclides emitting gamma radiation and to external dose rate. The existing research and operational aircrafts will be assessed with respect to the different data products considering the different level of QA/QC, spatial coverage, near real time data delivery, data availability/accessibility, operational response time, etc.
