Requirements Document

The requirements document will collate requirements from the local users/stakeholders, will receipt requirements from system already available in the demo areas and will assess and receipt the laws, limitations and best practices already present in the demo areas. The document will be prepared takiing into account existing forecasting systems in the demo areas, preparing questionnaires to be disseminated to the main stakeholders, collecting policy information and existing strategies for irrigation system development, collecting expertize in other universities and research institutions involved in previous research projects, collecting “know-how”, needs and requests at the local level (farmers in the pilot area, local administration) for irrigation used for specific types of crops, collecting the field data.
