Summary
The indicators to be developed will be modeled along the lines of the Sustainable Development Indicators SDIs used to implement the EU Sustainable Development Strategy They are intended as a type of selfassessment tool for the Regions and all relevant stakeholders within the Regions but also for the European Commission to understand how well SLO issues have been integrated into the mining and metallurgy lifecycles Guidance for their practical application in the use of the selfassessments will also be proposed Linking the developed SLO indicators with the JRC Scoreboard will be proposed for the raw materials sector activities
