Curating Migration and Diaspora exhibition

This component will collectively investigate the impact of migration and the resulting cultural diasporas on the field of contemporary visual art curatorship in particular. It will be underpinned by a consideration of the increasing prevalence of new media technologies both as a tool for communication, a mechanism for identity construction and as a medium for art. The exhibition will be co-curated between UWI and USTAN. The lead partner will construct both the briefs, the contracts, and will engage in the development of appropriate partnerships and programmes to give effect to their rationale.
