Descriptive report on the specific role of new media in EU financed projects’ communication strategies. Given the dramatic increase in the practical relevance of new social media in the last few years, this report will use data collected at different levels (i.e. regional and national) in order to disentangle specificities of these still rather unexplored channels to promote awareness and acceptance of cohesion initiatives among diverse regional publics. One such specificity to be discussed is interactivity of storytelling – i.e. how the perceptions of projects are dialogically constructed in discussions unfolding over time
