Literature review on the productivity puzzle, focusing on studying the productivity literature in detail, providing a micro-foundation to macro understanding of productivity patterns. Particular focus will be given to identifying the demand and supply-side factors that affect productivity as well as their contribution, including the role of the state and governance quality.
