Design stability guidelines for hybrid AC-DC systems

Summary
Power electronics converters offer fast dynamic but also bring multitude of frequency components into the system where they are connected Presence of multiple closedloop controlled converters can lead to their mutual interactions and eventually impact the system behaviour provoking instabilities For those reasons inputoutput impedanceadmittance measurements of converter terminals as well as point of common coupling can provide useful information that can aid planning of hybrid ACDC microgrids as well as being used for the realtime measurements By implementing measurements and collecting these information from the demonstrator grid various operating points will be explored helping to identify and verify critical operating modes
