Global and regionally-constrained biomass from models

We will use the ecosystem model APECOSM to simulate the globalscale dynamics of the mesopelagic communities on a 3D numerical grid with a 1 horizontal resolution over the period 19482016 Acoustic observations will be used to refine parameters estimates and assess the models predictions Global mesopelagic biomass predicted by APECOSM will be compared to the empirical estimates available in the literature
