Flow simulations and predictions of colloids deposition profile

Summary
Report on the microscopic fieldtheoretical models used to address the effect ofthe pore structure and size distribution on small velocity distribution at the porescale providing further microscopic insights with respect to fluiddynamics investigations Deterministic and stochastic simulations methods of the fluid flow must be also reported to understand colloid transport and retention addressing the role of pore structure in controlling the deposition and rate of transported colloids Finally the individual colloidmotion and adhesion location deterministic simulations are also reported to decribe the velocity distribution and the attachment rates directly measured in experiments
