Methodology to assess the economic prospects, carbon efficiency and LCA of the selected value chains

Current (published and non-published) work and Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for selected routes and knowledge gaps will be identified. Where gaps are found a coarse-grid LCA will be conducted to assess the carbon efficiency of the route. If detailed LCA is not available for the best solutions identified in T4.4, a more detailed analysis will be recommended. Any routes that are not carbon efficient will be discounted at this stage.
