Summary
The deliverable is a comprehensive report of the survey formed by distinct sections, listed below, with a common introduction on the methodology. The deliverable is produced by CLARIN, the WP2 Leader basing on material produced by task leaders.
Requirements concerning data policies. The section concerns user needs on policies about data lifecycle, data curation and long-term preservation; access and authentication policies; quality assessment of digital repositories; and IPR management and privacy issues. The section is based on the outcomes of sub-tasks 2.1.1, 2.1.2 and 2.1.3.
Standardization requirements. The section concerns the standardization requirements indicated by the various communities, and indicates priorities, common areas and emerging issues. It is based on the outcomes of Task 2.2.
Interoperability, services and tools requirements. The section concerns the interoperability level, joint services and tools requirements indicated by the communities, and states priorities, common areas and emerging issues. It is based on the outcomes of Task 2.3.
Education and training needs. The section concerns education and training, describing the current provision and the needs indicated by the communities, and states priorities, common areas and emerging issues. It is based on the outcomes of Task 2.4.
Communication needs. The section concerns the communication needs indicated by the various communities, and states priorities, common areas and emerging issues. It is based on the outcomes of Task 2.5.
