Summary
The deliverable is a comprehensive report formed by distinct sections, with a common introduction on the methodology, listed below. The deliverable is produced by KNAW, the WP3 Leader basing on material produced by task leaders.
Data policy implementation (draft). The section describes the policies for data lifecycle, curation and long- term preservation, and access and authentication. It is conceived as a ‘guide to good practice’; as such it includes examples, practical cases and answers to potential user’s questions. The section relies on the outcomes of Task 3.1.
Quality assessment of repositories, data and metadata (draft). The section describes the policies and methods for the quality assessment of repositories, data and metadata. It describes also the recommended procedures, metrics and documentation. It is conceived as a practical ‘guide to good practice’, and as such it includes examples, practical cases and answers to potential user’s questions. The section is based on the outcomes of Task 3.2.
IPR, Open Data and Open Access (draft). The section reports the policies about IPR and Open Data, and the frameworks enabling Open Access according to academic best practices and EU recommendations. It also reports about frameworks for Open Access. It is conceived as a ‘guide to good practice’, and as such it includes examples, practical cases and answers to user’s questions. The section is based on the outcomes of Task 3.3.
