Rapid 3D capture methods in biological collections and related fields

A report on existing and projected mass digitisation operations with a focus on capturing 3D data of specimens, and their associated 2D images of labels, on a large scale. The report will review alternative 3D model construction methods and address issues such as lighting setup, positioning of scanners, post-processing, etc. and make practical recommendations.
