Operational framework for National Nodes

Under this task the establishment and organization of the Operational Centre and National Nodes will be supported. The Operations Centre (OC) will be located in Norway, and will be directly connected with the National Nodes in countries willing to invest funds in ECCSEL. The National Nodes will act as coordination body between owners of the facilities (legal entities) at each country member of ECCSEL. Each National Node will nominate a National Coordinator with the following responsibilities: - Facilitate and Coordinate the development (adding more institutions) of the National Node’s research infrastructure in accordance with ECCSEL principles; - Communicate and promote ECCSEL objectives towards the National Authorities and Funding Agencies - Act as liaison between the National Nodes and the Operations Centre; - Being member of the ECCSEL RI Coordination Committee; - Facilitate and support in coordination with the Access Provider (Local Contact Person ) visiting researchers during the Transnational Access Programme (WP8-WP21) This deliverable will establish the general requirements and criteria to qualify as an ECCSEL National Node. In addition the right and obligations of the Nodes and the relationship with the Operation Centre will be finalized and agreed. It will establish and implement the operational framework for National Nodes
