Prototyping a distributed site catalogue

The work will consist of the following activities: (a) review mapping of local site models to INSPIRE EF; (b) implement harvesting mechanisms from distributed site catalogues based on standard interfaces (e.g. web-accessible-folder, OAI-PMH); (c) create a common search index based on Solr; and (d) create prototype discovery interface for site information. The results of the work will be compared to existing metadata harvesting based on ISO19139.
