D2.6 Data-driven and validated multiscale computational models and neuromorphic implementations

Our models will be mainly mesoscopic and will be integrated into the full brain models generated in WP1. They will reproduce emergent activity in various brain states, responsiveness, sensory processing and cognitive processes, departing from vision and reaching motor manipulation. Our NEST models will be used as a benchmark for analysis workflows, for execution on HPAC platforms. Network models will be adapted for real-time or faster-than-real-time execution on neuromorphic architectures (Spinnaker and BrainScaleS). Dendritic apical amplification will be integrated.
