Readiness Assessment tool and financing strategies - draft

This report will explain a tool which will be developed to assess the financial maturity of the planned or ongoing local sustainable energy projects of the mentees. Mentees will be able to conduct the self-assessment at the end of the respective LC directly online. They will enter their project data into the “Project Readiness Check” tool by answering a set of questions to evaluate each project’s finance readiness. The result of the project readiness check will be automatically determined based on the answers: it will indicate the level of finance readiness of the project to seek funding, highlight possible funding sources and if required, provide suggestions for potential improvements and recommendations of available support mechanisms (e.g. apply for ELENA funding if the proposal is very advanced, apply for EUCF funding for specific activities to further develop the proposal if it is medium advanced, etc.) to further develop the project proposal to make it finance-ready.Draft in month 18.
