Boosting know-how capacity in Geoarchaeology and Palaeontology in Croatia

Summary
This deliverable will be a report for immediate dissemination, and comprises, in part, of the written reports and teaching materials from the workshops and summer schools (MS2.1, MS2.2, MS2.3, MS2.4), the reports on Pleistocene small mammals in Croatia, Late Pleistocene and Holocene sea-level reconstructions, and the potential of underwater caves along the Eastern Adriatic coast for preserving Pleistocene sediments, as well as the reports on short-term mobilities (MS2.7). The report will promote the incorporation of Geoarchaeology into all phases of archaeological planning, teaching, and research. It will be aimed at government agencies (development planning, heritage management and protection, tourism), institutions of higher education (developing curricula in Geoarchaeology at University level), and the private sector (archaeological contracting firms). Multimedia presentations will build awareness and interest among the wider public in Geoarchaeology.
