Integrating Archaeobotany with the Sciences of the Past

This deliverable will be a report for immediate dissemination, and is comprised, in part, of the written reports and teaching materials from the workshop (MS4.2). The report will demonstrate the value of Archaeobotany and its integration with the Sciences of the Past. It will be aimed at institutions of higher education (promoting Archaeobotany in curricula at University level), government agencies (development planning, heritage management and protection, tourism), and the private sector (archaeological contracting firms). Multimedia presentations will build awareness and interest in the wider public in Archaeobotany and the human use of plants in the past.
