Data Management Plan

Summary
The Data Management Plan (DMP) will be finalized with the support of the mentor/supervisor and supporting staff at the Research Support and Innovation Service of UCY at the beginning of the fellowship (Ms 1&2) with the commitment to the FAIR Guiding principles. The DMP will be reviewed every six months to address the changing needs of the research. Data will be gathered and managed according to UCY Data Management Practice, which can be outlined as follows:(a) Preprint Open Access: All publications will be ‘Green Open Access’, in which manuscripts are made freely available online prior to journal publication. Preprint repositories that could host the results of the GlaSpeRG include socarxiv.org and papers.ssrn.org, both of which specialize in social sciences.(b) Open Datasets: in addition to maps, the GlaSpeRG database will be deposited in UCY’S Library Open Access repository (http://library.ucy.ac.cy/sources-database/?lang=en) and the Horizon Results Platform. Additionally, selected photographic material collected during the visits at the sites will be also deposited in UCY’s Open Access repository.(c) Open Methods: The reproducibility of research has been characterized as the cornerstone of science. For this reason, the applicant will deposit a reproducible analytical process that the project followed from data to results in UCY’s repository and other UCY Library electronic databases (GNOSIS, LEKYTHOS); the reader will be able tonavigate through the complete history of the project using a version control system.
