Institutional analysis and policy instruments

A report presenting results of institutional analysis and characterisation of policy instruments for the three catchmentsThe institutional arrangements for land and water governance in each catchment will be assessed through structured institutional analysis and the policy and regulatory measures (and associated technologies) currently applied in the three catchments to mitigate N and P loads categorised by regulatory, economic and advisory instruments . Policy instruments used in the deployment of mitigation measures will be score-evaluated on the basis of three criteria - effectiveness, efficiency and equity/fairness using a mix of quantitative and qualitive evidence gathered through stakeholder interviews.
