Data Management Plan

Summary
1. Purpose of data collection/generation and its relation to the objectives of the project:i. The Lig2BTX project aims to synthesize Dandelion type hollow-microspheres of bi/tri-metallic catalysts of Ni/Co/Y promoted Mo/W unsupported and supported on Al2O3, SiO2 and Al2O3-SiO2 for tuning of acidic properties.ii. Catalytic evaluation for the hydrotreatment of Kraft lignin targeting towards aromatic chemicals (BTX) in semi- and continuous reactors.iii. Developing the sustainable and selective process for the production of aromatics from abundant and inexpensive Kraft lignin reduces the overall production cost and provides benefit to bio-refineries and society.iv. Report on Techno-economic evaluation for the lignin hydrotreatment.2. Technical part:i. Technical part of research work focused on synthesis and characterization of Ni/Y/Co promoted Mo/W based Dandelion flower like hollow microsphere catalysts for the hydrotreatment of Kraft lignin for the production of aromatics like BTX.ii. All the file formats used are standard/readable by numerous tools.3. Experimental part:i. The physico-chemical properties of the synthesized catalysts would be characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), nitrogen physisorption, temperature programmed reduction techniques etc.ii. The activity of the synthesized catalysts NiYMo, CoYMo, NiW based catalysts would be evaluated for the hydrotreatment of Kraft lignin in batch, semi-/continuous reactors. The products would be analyzed by GC/GC-MS, GC-TCD, CHNS etc.iii. Standard data formats will be used (CSV for tabular data, TIFF and PDF for pictures), so that the data is easily accessible.4. Data utility:The LIg2BTX project will confer significant scientific advances in the field of materials design, catalysis strategies and production of valued chemicals from biomass waste, in addition to the knowledge transfer, training activities and long run societal interests.5. Reuse of Datai. Till the research publication, the outstanding results and crucial methodology details data will be shared only with Institute of Chemistry, UniGraz.ii. Free access and increased visibility to the peer-reviewed articles will be ensured through repositories of candidate as well as research supervisor (ResearcherID, Researchgate, Google Scholar, Academia.edu, LinkedIn, Slovene repository DIRROS and Zenodo.org etc.) and also at the Uni Graz website. The significant findings of the Lig2BTX project will also be presented on websites for spreading and transfer of scientific knowledge even to general public such as AAAS, ScienceStage.com, and Science Daily etc.6. Archival of Data:i. A laboratory notebook would be maintained to record the day to day research activities. ii. Daily and weekly backup of data will be made by the information technology infrastructure available at the UniGraz website.iii. Data will be stored on long-term on the special archive infrastructure. 7. File formats: i. CSV file format (*.csv)A comma-separated values (CSV) file is a delimited text file that uses a comma to separate values. Each line of the file is a data record. The file is commonly used to store tabular data of text and numbers. The file format is very simple but is sadly not fully standardized. However, export to CSV is available on most experimental machines. Detailed description is available: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comma-separated_valuesii. TIFF file format (*.tiff)Tagged Image File Format (TIFF or TIF) is a file format for storing raster graphics images. The format is widely used to store images as well as corresponding meta data. Most microscope software support export to the TIFF format. Detailed specifications are available: https://www.adobe.io/open/standards/TIFF.htmliii. PDF file format (*.pdf)The Portable Document F
