Report on interhemispheric contrasts regarding spatial and temporal distribution of ice cloud properties (in particular, ice crystal number concentration) with focus on the undisturbed background atmosphere

This is a deliverable from Task 2.1 as well. It describes analyses based on the ATom data set. While the majority of IAGOS and JULIA data are from the polluted northern hemisphere (i.e., data with aviation influence), ATom has data from clean areas of the southern hemisphere as well. This allows to compare the situation in polluted versus unpolluted regions of the world.
