Summary
This deliverable is the outcome of task 1.3. The impact of aviation-emitted aerosol on low-level clouds is potentially very large, but the uncertainty of this effect is particularly large as well. The deliverable will describe new modelling results using an updated aerosol dynamics scheme. Second, the paths over which the cruise-emitted aerosol is transported to low level clouds will be shown and it will be quantified which fraction of the aerosol impact on low-level clouds can be attributed to cruise-level flights and which to aircraft operations near airports (LTO cycle).
