Summary
Report from Task2.4 on the potential of different forest management options such as thinning, mixed-species and uneven-aged forests, and strict reservation to mitigate climate change driven growth reductions and tree mortality focusing on extreme drought events. The study is based on analyses of experiments across Europe with a focus on sites within case studies, where existing; otherwise other national experiments and literature data will be used. The report will be subsequently published as a scientific open-access paper.
