D4.1 will provides an initial evaluation and comparison of the latest methods used for forecasting and projecting hourly extreme weather events. The assessment will include a review of different techniques, their strengths, limitations, and applicability. The deliverable will aim to inform researchers about the current state-of-the-art methods for accurate and reliable forecasts and projections of hourly extremes, laying the foundation for further analysis and improvements in this field.
