District Simulation platform description and validation through TRL 6 test

The modelling at the scale of the district requires specific adaptations for the interaction of local building modelled in T4.1. The local microclimate has to be accurately considered. Automatic model generation (i.e. from CityGML) and reduction approaches will be experimented with, in order to minimize the modelling efforts associated with the large number of buildings that will be simulated. Finally, as the project integrates technical solutions that combine, insulation and energy harvesting functions and energy exchange between the buildings and existing District Heating Network or National grid, it is necessary to evaluate the contribution of each energy harvesting components to the overall performance.
